Information We Collect

To provide our services, we collect only the essential information required for the application to function correctly. This applies to both registered users and guest users.

  • For Registered Users (e.g., via Email, Google, Apple): We collect your email address and display name for account identification, password recovery, and for contacting you regarding critical support issues.
  • For Guest Users (Anonymous): When you use the app as a guest, we do not collect personal information like your email. Instead, an anonymous identifier is created to save your progress locally on your device. You have the option to provide a display name.
  • In-App Data (Scores & Usage): For all users, we collect your test scores, progress, and data about how you use features within the app. This data is used exclusively to provide the core functionality, such as tracking your performance and saving your progress.

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the functionality of our application.
  • To save your progress, scores, and settings.
  • To respond to your direct support requests or questions.
  • To analyze anonymized usage data to identify bugs and improve the app's performance and user experience.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We believe in user privacy and data minimization. Therefore:

  • We **do not** share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purposes.
  • Your personal data, such as your email and individual scores, are **not shared** with or made visible to other users of the app.
  • We will only disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Information Sharing in a Classroom Context (For Student Users)

A core feature of our application is to facilitate a learning environment between teachers and students. By voluntarily entering a teacher's unique code, you explicitly consent to share certain academic data, such as your display name and test scores, with that specific teacher for educational and progress-tracking purposes. This data is only visible to the teacher whose class you have joined and is not shared with the public or other users. You can leave a teacher's class at any time through the app's settings, which will stop any future sharing of your results with that teacher.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

When you make an in-app purchase, such as a subscription, it is processed through the Apple App Store and linked to your Apple ID. To ensure your purchase benefits are available across devices, we also link the purchase to your app account (User ID).

  • Important Note for Guest Users: We strongly advise against making purchases while using a guest account. A guest account is tied to your device and can be lost if you reinstall the app or change devices, potentially leading to the loss of your purchase. To secure your purchase, please create a free, registered account first.
  • One Account Per Purchase: A single purchase can only be linked to one app account at a time.
  • Transferring a Purchase: If you wish to use your purchase with a new or different app account, you must first **permanently delete the original account** to which the purchase is linked. This action will release the purchase, allowing it to be linked to a new account upon sign-in.

Intended Use as an Educational Tool

Our application is designed primarily as a tool to support and enhance the learning process through interactive practice, classroom engagement, and informal progress checks. While teachers may use the app for low-stakes quizzes, it is not designed or intended to be a secure platform for high-stakes assessments, such as final exams, standardized tests, or evaluations where scores have a significant impact on a student's grade.

The application's architecture prioritizes a fast and responsive user experience over the strict security protocols required for formal examinations. We trust educators to use their professional judgment in selecting the appropriate tools for their assessment needs.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We provide you with control over your data and have clear policies for data retention.

  • Data Control and Rectification (Registered Users): You have the right to access and update your personal information—such as your display name, class code, email, and password—at any time through the app’s account settings.
  • Data for Guest Users: Data for guest accounts is stored in our database but is not linked to any personal information like an email. You can convert your guest account into a registered account at any time to secure your data and use it across devices.
  • Voluntary Deletion (Registered Users): You can choose to delete your registered account and all associated data at any time from within the app's settings.
  • Inactive Guest Account Deletion: To manage our database efficiently, guest accounts that have been inactive for a continuous period of **sixty (60) days** will be permanently deleted. Inactivity is defined as not signing into the app. We recommend creating a free account if you wish to preserve your data for longer.
  • Inactive Registered Account Deletion: Registered accounts that remain inactive for a continuous period of **two (2) years** will be subject to permanent deletion.
  • Data Included in Deletion: Permanent deletion includes your user account, email address (if applicable), test scores, progress, and all other associated data. This action is irreversible.

Advertising and Tracking

Our applications are designed to be a clean and focused experience. For this reason:

  • Our apps contain **no third-party advertisements**.
  • We **do not** use any trackers, cookies, or similar technologies to monitor your activity across other apps or websites.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
